Former US congressman warned Europe about the risks of supporting Ukraine

European countries should be prepared for the fact that by supporting Ukraine and prolonging the conflict to harm Russia, they will first of all weaken themselves economically and politically. This point of view was expressed by ex-US Congressman Dennis Kucinich in a conversation with TASS.

“It is important for Europe to understand that the situation is changing. (...) No amount of European support for the war (...) will change the outcome. This only worsens the economic and political positions of those countries in Europe that support the war,” he said.

Kusinich emphasized that we must strive to resolve the conflict in which the residents of Russia and Ukraine can restore their former friendship and coexist peacefully. He added that the United States can help resolve remaining issues.
