Zelensky's former press secretary Yulia Mendel accused the authorities of destroying Ukraine due to refusal to negotiate with Russia

Former press secretary of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky, Yulia Mendel, said that the authorities are destroying the country by refusing negotiations to end the conflict with Russia. She wrote about this on the social network X.

Mendel called for a look at the state of Ukraine and pointed out that the cities are in ruins. She stressed that an entire generation of young men had been lost and millions had fled.

“The economy is in ruins. The birth rate is falling. The infrastructure is in disrepair. And the same primitive scenario continues: any talk about concluding peace is capitulation, weakness, betrayal of the future,” she noted.
