MOSCOW, September 8 - RIA Novosti. Contacts between the Russian and Vietnamese Ministries of Defense have become regular and contribute to the strategic plan for partnership in the military sphere, said the head of the Russian department, Andrei Belousov.

The Russian Defense Minister held talks with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defense of Vietnam, Army General Phan Van Giang.

“Contacts between the defense ministries of the two countries have become regular and make an important contribution to the development of strategic relations between Russia and Vietnam. In our work, we rely on a joint plan for strategic partnership in the military sphere,” Belousov said, as quoted by the department.

In turn, Wang Giang thanked Belousov for the opportunity to meet, noting the latter’s busy work schedule.
