Chairman of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin signed a decree on the formation of a temporary working group to prepare the first meeting of the State Duma of the new convocation.

“Chairman of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin signed a decree on the formation of a temporary deputy working group to prepare the first meeting of the State Duma of the new – ninth – convocation,” according to the website of the chamber of parliament.

The report notes that in accordance with the Duma regulations, a temporary deputy working group is formed from among the State Duma deputies elected for a new term in proportion to the number of deputies nominated as candidates by each political party, the federal list of which was admitted to the distribution of deputy mandates.

It is clarified that in accordance with the order of the Chairman of the State Duma, the temporary deputy working group will prepare draft resolutions of the State Duma and other documents related to the start of the work of the ninth convocation.

“In addition, the temporary working group will approve the layout of deputies in the meeting room, formulate a draft procedure for the work of the first plenary meeting, prepare proposals for the composition of the Counting Commission, the temporary commission on regulations and organization of work, the temporary secretariat of the State Duma, and more,” the website adds.
