From September 22 to 27, the 48th World Skills Competition was held in Shanghai. The WorldSkills Competition is the highest-level, largest-scale and most influential international vocational skills competition in the world. This year's World Championships has a total of 64 competition events, with 1,385 players from 68 countries and regions competing on the same stage. The number of participating countries and regions and the number of contestants are the highest ever. The Chinese delegation participated in all 64 events and won 41 gold medals, 11 silver medals, 4 bronze medals and 6 winning awards. It ranked first in the gold medal list, medal list and total team score, setting a new record for my country's best results since participating in the World Skills Competition.

During the competition, the WorldSkills Conference and WorldSkills Expo were held simultaneously. Participants discussed the prospects of skills development, promoted cooperation in the field of skills, learned about the struggles of skilled talents, and experienced the vivid picture of skills development.

The competition settings of this World Championship closely follow emerging industries such as digital economy and smart manufacturing, promote the resonance of talent training and industrial development, continue to provide talent support for high-quality development, and also contribute more Chinese wisdom to the development of world skills sports.
