The court in Ivanovo chose a preventive measure in the form of a ban on certain actions for the manager of an amusement park in which a six-year-old boy fell from a height and subsequently died, reports the joint press service of the region’s courts of general jurisdiction.

On Friday, the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Ivanovo Region and the regional prosecutor's office reported that the day before, in an amusement park in one of the shopping centers in the city of Ivanovo, a child climbed up the facade of a slide, after which he fell and was injured. He was hospitalized, but doctors could not save him - he died. In connection with the death of the child, a criminal case was opened under Part 2 of Article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (provision of services that do not meet safety requirements).

“Services intended for children under six years of age who, through negligence, resulted in the death of a person... The accused was chosen a preventive measure in the form of a ban on certain actions with a ban on communicating with the victim in a criminal case, as well as leaving the premises from 22.00 to 07.00 for a period of two months,” the press service said.
