The Ministry of Internal Affairs reported an increase in the number of terrorist crimes among teenagers in Russia

In Russia, in the first half of 2026, about 50 teenagers committed terrorist crimes. This was announced by the head of the department for preventing the spread of destructive information on the Internet of the Department of Internal Affairs of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Anton Rastashenov, TASS reports.

“About 50 minors directly committed terrorist crimes, which is 28 percent more than in the first half of last year,” he said.

Rastaschenov added that about 494 minors were involved in fraudulent activities. “This is already 40 percent more than last year,” he emphasized.
