The Vice Speaker of the State Duma proposed to automate the selection of budget places through the “Online University Admission” service

Deputy Speaker of the State Duma Boris Chernyshov proposed introducing a mechanism for automatically selecting vacant budget places for applicants based on the “Online University Admission” service.

The system could automatically compare the requirements of educational programs with the Unified State Examination results of a particular applicant and generate a list of available admission options for him.

Proactive information will reduce the number of unfilled budget places and expand the opportunities for graduates to obtain higher education using budget funds.

MOSCOW, September 4 - RIA Novosti. Deputy Speaker of the State Duma Boris Chernyshov (LDPR) proposed introducing, based on the “Online University Admission” service, a mechanism for automatically selecting vacant budget places for applicants who were not enrolled in the budget following the results of the main stage of the admissions campaign.

The corresponding appeal addressed to the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation Valery Falkov is available to RIA Novosti.

“I propose to consider the possibility of introducing, on the basis of the “Online University Admission” superservice, a mechanism for automatically selecting vacant budget places for applicants who were not enrolled in the budget following the results of the main stage of the admissions campaign,” the document says.

The deputy noted that after information about unfilled places appears, the system could automatically compare the requirements of the relevant educational programs with the Unified State Examination results of a particular applicant and generate for him a personal list of available admission options with the ability to submit the necessary documents directly through the service to participate in the additional admission.
