Shanxi sheep tail oil is exported to the United Arab Emirates for the first time, and Jin brand livestock products have added new business cards to the overseas market

China News Service, Taiyuan, September 11 (Yang Jing, Xi Jinjia) Reporters learned from Taiyuan Customs on the 11th that a batch of frozen sheep tail oil produced in Shanxi had successfully passed customs in the United Arab Emirates recently under the supervision and release of Jinyang Customs, a subsidiary of Taiyuan Customs. This is the first time Shanxi sheep tail oil has been exported, adding a new business card to the "Jin brand" livestock products overseas.

Sheep tail oil is the fatty tissue of sheep tail. It has a long edible tradition and wide range of catering applications in the Middle East, and has a huge market demand. Shanxi is located on the Loess Plateau, and its unique semi-agricultural and semi-pastoral ecological conditions have nurtured a high-quality mutton industry. The successful entry of sheep tail oil into the UAE market provides experience for Shanxi’s livestock products to integrate into the national market of the “One Belt, One Road” initiative.

Taiyuan Customs lists the export of sheep tail oil as a key assistance item, and guides Jinyang Customs to set up a special team to meet the UAE's access requirements on the spot; it implements "one product, one policy, one enterprise, one policy" to help enterprises establish a full-process quality and safety control and traceability system, strengthen epidemic prevention and control, improve internal control, handle export procedures efficiently, and ensure the smooth export of livestock products.
