Senior anchor Zhou Yuqin was shocked to be fired, and her celebrity husband Lai Yueqian also quit Zhongtian Announcement at the same time. Both parties held different opinions during the live broadcast today. Lai Yueqian said that Zhongtian's statement was far from the facts and had screenshots. Zhongtian released screenshots of the conversation to counter that it was Lai who took the initiative to resign.

Senior media person Zhang Nianci criticized Zhongtian TV's handling of the dismissal of anchor Zhou Yuqin as too sudden. He notified the dismissal only one day later and did not give employees time to say goodbye. He believed that the minimum legal standards do not equal respect and that employees who have served for many years should receive decent separation arrangements.

The article exposes the chaos of false rural narratives on short video platforms: some people break into farmhouses to challenge farmers to create conflicts, and some people arrange treasure hunt segments to package the greedy competition for money in performances into real rural life. The photographers gain traffic while ordinary farmers become the targets of ridicule. The article pointed out that the behavior of fabricating identities, fabricating dilemmas, and inducing purchases not only deceives consumers, but also damages the trust that rural e-commerce relies on for development, and increases the cost of repairing the reputation of the production area. The article calls on platforms to connect content review, recommendation distribution, profit-making authority and behind-the-scenes institutional management, so that the cost of violations falls on the profiteers, while giving more opportunities for real and professional rural content so that farmers no longer become readily available traffic material.
