The Miaoli Police Station in Miaoli County obtained information and busted a drug syndicate, arresting six suspects and confiscating more than 500 grams of second-level drugs amphetamines, etomidate cartridges, and e-liquids, as well as e-cigarette mainframes, electronic scales, repackaging bags, K disks, and smoking devices. The entire case was transferred to the Miaoli District Prosecutor's Office for investigation on suspicion of violating the Drug Harm Prevention Regulations. What is rare is that the group is dominated by women, with 5 women and 1 man among the 6 suspects.

The emerging drug "zombie cartridges" threaten social security, and drug-driving accidents are common, causing social concern. The Miaoli Police Branch implemented the "National Synchronized Intensification of Investigation of Drug Driving and Combating Zombies, Smoking and Drugs" project, obtained information, and reported to Miaoli District Prosecutor's Office Prosecutor Chen Yayu to direct the investigation. The police seized a total of 5 women and 1 man from a rented house and a motel. They also seized about 500 grams of amphetamines, etomidate cartridges, and e-liquid at the scene, as well as a mixture of methyl ketone and acetone, an e-cigarette main unit, an electronic scale, a refill bag, a K-disk, and an inhaler.

The police found that the group was run by the main suspect, a 35-year-old woman surnamed Sun, and his partner, a 34-year-old woman surnamed Xiao. Among them was a 42-year-old woman surnamed Cai, a wanted drug fugitive. She was suspected of using the rental house as a warehouse, and then looking for a motel as a packaging and manufacturing site when the goods were to be shipped. After police inquiries, the entire case was transferred to the Miaoli District Prosecutor's Office for investigation on suspicion of violating the Drug Harm Prevention Regulations.
