Turkish artist Serhat Mustafa Kilic has died at the age of 51

The famous Turkish artist Serhat Mustafa Kilic was found dead in his home, on Saturday, at the age of 51, and his body was transferred to the Forensic Medicine Institute to determine the cause of death, according to what was published by Turkish media, including the CNN TÜRK website.

His girlfriend, Ozlem Esmergul, told the police that she had lost contact with him since last Thursday, and when he did not answer, she used the key she had to open his house, and found him sitting in the living room motionless, his body cold, and he was not breathing, so she immediately called the emergency number. When medical teams arrived at the site, they confirmed his death.

Following the Public Prosecutor’s inspection, Sarhat’s body was transferred to the Forensic Medicine Institute to determine the cause of death. Turkish media reported that Esmergul told the police that the late artist was suffering from lymphoma.

His colleague, artist Şuray Uzun, told Turkish media, in front of the Institute of Forensic Medicine, that the autopsy procedures had been completed, awaiting the issuance of an official statement specifying the cause of death. Serhat's body will be delivered to his family upon their arrival from Ankara, and the family is the one who "will determine the burial arrangements."

A state of sadness fell over the Turkish artistic community due to the shocking death of their colleague Serhat Kılıç, according to the CNN TÜRK website, and the late artist is one of the familiar Turkish faces in the Arab world, through a number of series in which he participated, including those that were dubbed into the Syrian dialect or into Arabic, such as “Ezel,” “The Founder Othman,” “Muhammad... Sultan of Conquests,” and “Kirli Sepeti.”
