China News Service, Chongqing, October 22 (Liang Qinqing) In order to promote the deep integration of artificial intelligence technological innovation and industrial innovation, the General Artificial Intelligence Conference hosted by the Chongqing General Intelligence Society was held in Chongqing on the 22nd. With the theme of "Inspiring China, Chongqing Sees the Future", the conference brought together domestic and foreign artificial intelligence experts and scholars, industry leaders and representatives of investment institutions to discuss the development trends and industry directions of artificial general intelligence (AGI).
This conference adopts a multi-linked form of "meetings, competitions, and exhibitions", taking Chongqing's ultra-large-scale urban governance scenario as a guide, focusing on exploring China's path to the development of general artificial intelligence, and promoting the large-scale application of AGI in political, commercial, and civil fields. The conference will set up multiple thematic forums focusing on social intelligence, embodied intelligence, industry intelligence, megacity governance, AI education and talent training, industrial innovation and investment, etc. to comprehensively showcase the latest achievements and cutting-edge exploration in the field of general artificial intelligence.
At the opening ceremony, Dong Le, executive director of the Chongqing General Artificial Intelligence Research Institute, officially launched the Der Spiegel platform, demonstrating the platform’s practical results in two-way empowerment of digital Chongqing and megacity governance. The institute uses the "1+3+4+N" system to build this AGI technology public service platform: with the CUV architecture as the technical core, supported by the three major technical bases of the intelligent agent self-evolution base, the social simulation platform, and the virtual and real closed-loop training ground, it has formed four major science and technology public service platforms for government, commercial, civil, and testing, promoting its application in N real scenarios, and providing solutions to various problems ranging from industrial manufacturing to urban governance, and from scientific discovery to creative expression.

At the meeting, Chongqing General Artificial Intelligence Research Institute joined hands with leading companies in the field of artificial intelligence such as large models, embodied intelligence, computing power and chips to jointly launch the "Dingjing Partner Construction and Promotion Plan" to jointly build and share the capabilities of the Mirror AGI base platform and create a series of urban applications in megacities to achieve two-way empowerment of the platform and ecological partners, build a collaborative innovation ecosystem for general artificial intelligence, and accelerate the practical and industrialization process of AGI technology.
Zhu Songchun, dean of the School of Intelligence at Peking University and director of the Beijing Institute of General Artificial Intelligence, concluded that China's "mental approach" to general artificial intelligence is to draw on the wisdom of Chinese thought such as "the mind is the heart" and "the heart is the reason", explore an independent and original Chinese technology route, focus on Chinese application scenarios such as urban governance, people's livelihood and well-being, and promote the Chinese cultural values of sharing beauty, harmony and symbiosis.
Zhu Songchun said that the development of China's AGI should follow the low-cost, high-efficiency and inclusive route like the high-speed rail network, highway network, and "village-to-village" projects. It does not replace high-value human positions with machines, but transforms smart technology into development dividends that are perceptible, usable, and accessible to all people, promotes global technology sharing and capacity building with an open attitude, and achieves open source, openness, and inclusive win-win results.
