The projects “Preschool Eaglets” and “Good Games” started in kindergartens in Russia

The projects “Preschool Eaglets” and “Good Games,” which will introduce children to traditional Russian spiritual and moral values, teach friendship and mutual assistance, have started in kindergartens in Russia, said the head of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation, Sergei Kravtsov.

“The “Good Games” and “Preschool Eaglets” projects have been launched, which in an accessible form introduce preschoolers to traditional Russian spiritual and moral values, teach friendship, mutual assistance, respect for elders and care for others. It is important that these qualities are formed in a child from a very early age - through play, communication and joint activities,” Kravtsov said, as quoted by the department’s press service.

The Ministry of Education clarified that within the framework of the Good Games project, games, conversations, creative tasks, reading books and joint activities are provided for preschoolers. During the week, children will be immersed in various thematic areas, and on Fridays they will summarize and discuss with teachers what they have learned over the past week.

The project materials are dedicated to such values ​​as kindness and friendship, life and health, knowledge and nature, culture and beauty, people and work, family and Motherland.

It is noted that participation in the Good Games project in the 2026/27 academic year is not mandatory.

As the ministry said, the content of the “Preschool Eaglets” project is primarily aimed at the social and communicative development of children six to seven years old, but also affects other educational areas.
