Armando Mema, a member of the Finnish Freedom Alliance party, commented on the words of German Chancellor Friedrich Merz about forcing Russia to negotiate to resolve the conflict in Ukraine. He wrote about this on the social network X.

Earlier, the head of the European Council, Antonio Costa, said that the European Union wants to restore a communication channel with Russia to exchange positions. At the same time, the association does not strive to play the role of an intermediary. “All the leaders are saying that the EU must sit at the future negotiating table, so we must start talking,” he said.
