Seven departments in China issued a document to promote high-level opening up of the e-commerce field

China News Service, Beijing, October 10 (Reporter Yin Qianyun) The "Notice on Implementing the "Five Excellent" Actions for Quality E-commerce" (hereinafter referred to as the "Notice") formulated by seven departments including the Ministry of Commerce of China was released on the 10th. It is proposed to guide Silk Road e-commerce companies to "strive for excellence in quality" and promote high-level opening up in the e-commerce field.

The person in charge of the Department of E-Commerce of the Ministry of Commerce said that the notice focuses on deploying 15 specific tasks and building a full-chain cultivation system around five major dimensions.

The first is to organize the "quality promotion" of e-commerce platforms, strengthen the cultivation of quality e-commerce entities, promote the transformation of platform rules to optimize, and establish a full-link quality control system. This includes guiding e-commerce platforms to establish a chief quality officer system, supervising the systematic and systematic construction of quality management systems, and improving the online service quality evaluation system.

The second is to support all types of merchants to "create excellence in quality", improve merchants' quality operation capabilities, innovate and develop e-commerce consumer brands, and empower quality merchants to expand their markets. This includes carrying out the "e-commerce + industrial belt" cultivation action, encouraging localities to plan and lay out e-commerce product selection centers, and focusing on supporting small and medium-sized sellers with core technologies and original designs to connect to e-commerce channels and enhance brand awareness.

The third is to facilitate consumers to "choose the best by quality", build a matrix of quality consumption activities, create online and offline integrated quality consumption scenarios, and strengthen consumption guidance and financial services. This includes encouraging online brands to open physical stores offline and developing an integrated online and offline operation model.

The fourth is to guide Silk Road e-commerce companies to "strive for excellence in quality", build a good ecology for e-commerce overseas, cultivate and promote the "Silk Road Cloud Products" brand, and promote high-level opening up in the e-commerce field. It mentioned that the role of cross-border e-commerce retail imports should be given better play, online and offline national pavilions should be made good use of, high-quality overseas products should be supported for their first shows and exhibitions, the "national pavilion + live broadcast" channel should be innovated, and "one country, one hit product" should be cultivated.

The fifth is to strengthen the "long-term protection of excellence" in normative standards, improve the e-commerce standard system, coordinate to rectify disorderly and irrational competition, and strengthen industry self-discipline.
