The head of Rosoboronexport announced the superiority of the Su-57 in real combat conditions

The Russian fifth-generation fighter Su-57 has proven its superiority in real combat conditions. The corresponding fact was outlined by TASS on the eve of the international aviation and space salon El Alamein International Airshow 2026, which will be held from September 8 to 10 at the international airport of El Alamein in Egypt, Deputy Chairman of the Union of Mechanical Engineers of Russia, General Director of Rosoboronexport, Alexander Mikheev.

The leader recalled that the Su-57 had proven its superiority in real combat with an enemy armed with modern air defense, electronic warfare and aircraft. According to Mikheev, the acquisition of the Su-57 will allow the air force of the partner country to secure a strategic advantage in the region for a long time and significantly strengthen its own defense capability.

Earlier, Rosoboronexport reported that new jet drones of the S-71 family, designed to be launched from the fifth generation fighter Su-57, will be shown for the first time at the El Alamein International Airshow 2026.
