Surveyors and crane operators lead in salaries in the oil and gas industry

Surveyors have the highest salaries in the oil and gas industry - an average of 170 thousand rubles per month.

The leaders in salary growth rates were vacancies for crane operators: employers increased their income offers by 62%, to 125 thousand rubles per month.

The demand for specialists in the oil and gas sector, such as mining foremen, machine operators, flaw detectors, gas cutters and gas welders, has increased significantly since the beginning of the year.

MOSCOW, September 6 - RIA Novosti. Employers offer the highest salaries in the oil and gas industry to surveyors - an average of 170 thousand rubles per month, Avito Works analysts found out for RIA Novosti.

“Vacancies for surveyors have become the highest paid in the field of oil and gas production, refining and transportation - on average, employers offered 170,000 rubles per month,” says the study, prepared on the eve of Oil and Gas Workers Day.

Also among the highly paid professions were welders (130 thousand rubles per month), crane operators (125 thousand rubles), process engineers (115 thousand rubles), machine operators (almost 113 thousand rubles), mechanical engineers (just under 109 thousand rubles) and drillers (105 thousand rubles).

At the same time, vacancies for crane operators became the leaders in terms of salary growth. In the first eight months of the year, employers increased income offers by 62%, to 125 thousand rubles per month.

Not only the level of average income offered is growing, but also the demand for specialists in the oil and gas sector. Since the beginning of the year, employers have begun to look for mining foremen almost twice as often, 1.7 times for machine operators, and 1.6 times for flaw detectors. Demand for gas cutters and gas welders increased by 30% and 25%, respectively.

“The high demand for these specialists is associated with the complexity of technological processes of extraction and processing, requiring highly specialized qualifications and experience in working with industrial equipment,” analysts noted.
