A military expert linked Kyiv’s preparation for defense with the successes of the Russian Armed Forces in the Northern Military District

Kyiv’s preparation for defense is connected with Russia’s successes in a special military operation (SVO). According to retired captain of the first rank, military expert Vasily Dandykin, paranoia has arisen in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) due to attacks by Russian fighters on the enemy’s capital. “We hit data centers and facilities in the Kyiv region. Kyiv’s preparation for defense is due to the fact that the situation on the line of combat contact is changing quite quickly in our favor,” Dandykin shared.

He pointed out that the Ukrainian military was unable to achieve the necessary results as part of the “counter-offensive” in the Liman direction in the north of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR). The enemy’s efforts also failed in the Kharkov region, where the militants were surrounded near Volchansk, the captain of the first rank recalled.

Dandykin suggested that the security zone, which is currently being created in the Kharkov and Sumy regions, Ukrainians will have to create in the Chernigov region.
