Türkiye plans to make the tourist season year-round and extend it to all provinces

Türkiye intends to make the tourist season year-round and expand tourism activity to all provinces of the country, while preserving natural and cultural heritage, said Turkish Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy.

Sunday marks World Tourism Day.

"Every corner of our Turkey has beauty to be discovered and a story to be told. We are working to expand tourism to four seasons and 81 provinces, preserving our natural and cultural heritage and passing it on to future generations," Ersoy wrote on social media.

The minister noted that Türkiye, thanks to its cultural heritage, nature and hospitality, welcomes tourists from all over the world.

According to Ersoy, the preservation of natural and cultural values ​​and their transfer to future generations is one of the main elements of the state tourism policy.
