The first batch of digital home scenarios will be implemented in six cities including Shenzhen and Qingdao.

China News Service, Beijing, October 21 (Reporter Pang Wuji) On October 20, the National Development and Reform Commission officially announced the first batch of 136 iconic major application scenario projects. The "Digital Home Industry Chain Cultivation and Opening Scenario" led by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development was selected as a comprehensive application scenario for social governance services.

The reporter learned from the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development on the 21st that the first batch of scenario application cities is planned to be implemented in six cities: Shenzhen, Qingdao, Ningbo, Hefei, Dongguan, and Jinhua. The application city covers different regions, taking into account different economic foundations, industrial formats and urban development stages, and will create hierarchical, classified and differentiated practical models to lay a solid foundation for comprehensive promotion. This scenario will build a long-term working mechanism for multi-party collaboration. By improving the digital home standard system, focusing on key core technologies such as the interconnection of digital home products and platforms, it will explore the creation of multiple digital home industry bases, talent training bases and pilot platforms using housing types such as commercial housing, affordable housing, new communities and old communities as implementation carriers.

The "15th Five-Year Plan" outline proposes to "build safe, comfortable, green and smart 'good houses', implement housing quality improvement projects and property service quality improvement actions" and "support aging-friendly renovation and intelligent upgrading of old houses", and deploy the task of "improving residential design and residential intelligence levels" in major "'artificial intelligence +' people's livelihood and welfare" major projects. According to preliminary estimates, the large-scale implementation of digital home construction during the "15th Five-Year Plan" period can cultivate an incremental market of 1.6 trillion yuan, which will also effectively release the consumption potential of about 10 trillion yuan in the entire industry chain, strongly supporting the in-depth integration of the digital economy and people's livelihood services.

As an important support for the smart construction of good houses, digital homes can not only ensure the implementation of the three core basic functions of residential safety, comfort, and greenness, but also continue to expand digital application scenarios for new urban infrastructure construction, providing a solid carrier and powerful starting point for the digital transformation of the entire city. Through scene cultivation, smart homes will accelerate the upgrade to a smart living experience with whole-house linkage and active sensing, and health management, home care and other fields will also enter a new stage of digital intelligence.
