Celebrating the 60th anniversary of the Nanying King Ship Festival, Jingogong Palace re-engraved 60 small king ships

In order to welcome the "60th Anniversary of the Nanying King Ship Festival", the Sucuo Zhenhu Palace in Tainan's Anding District re-engraved 60 small king ships to celebrate the religious event. Mayor Huang Weizhe went to pay homage today, praying for a thousand years for the five palaces to bless the country and the people, and good weather.

The first-generation Tianfu Zhenhu Temple in Sucuo, which is listed among the "Taiwan's 100 Religious Scenes", will usher in the historic event "The 60th Anniversary Celebration of the Nanying King Boat Festival for the Five Dynasties of Ding Weike" in 2027. To celebrate the upcoming grand event, the temple has re-engraved 60 cypress-wood king ships and given them to believers across the country. Huang Weizhe was also lucky enough to receive one of them. Today he went to Zhenhu Palace to offer incense and pay homage to the statue with legislator Guo Guowen and Assemblymember Chen Yizhen.

Huang Weizhe said that he was very happy to receive the divine blessing from Wufu Chitose and receive the commemorative gift for the "60th Anniversary Celebration". Next year will be the Wangchuan Festival, and he prays that Wufu Chitose can continue to bless Tainan with good weather and the safety and health of citizens.

The temple authorities said that in order to organize the "60th Anniversary Celebration of the Nanying King Boat Festival for the Five Dynasties of Dingweike", in addition to preparing small king boats to be presented to believers across the country, the temple will also hold a preparatory meeting for the selection of relevant clergy next year to jointly complete the task.

The temple authorities pointed out that this year's priestly election has received an unprecedentedly high number of registrations. Participating believers not only come from all over Taiwan, but also attracted enthusiastic responses from overseas Chinese from as far away as the United States, Japan, and Vietnam. This clearly shows that the "Southern King's Boat Festival" is highly valued.
