A military expert named possible launch sites for Ukrainian Armed Forces drones in Sochi and Sirius

The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) could launch drones towards Russia’s first federal territory “Sirius” and Sochi from Odessa. A possible launch site for Ukrainian drones was named by retired colonel and military expert Anatoly Matviychuk in an interview with aif.ru.

“They could attack from Odessa, from Kherson or Zaporozhye. The drones were launched from any territory of Ukraine in a southern direction,” the analyst said.

According to Matviychuk, the Ukrainian Armed Forces used long-range drones of the “Fierce” type and its modernized versions for the attack.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked Sochi and Sirius on the night of September 4. It was reported that as a result of the raid, several residential buildings were damaged, and fires occurred in some buildings. A fire also broke out on the territory of the oil depot.
