She lifted 107kg in the snatch and once tied the world record. Later, it was updated by Chinese and North Korean experts. In the end, she won a bronze medal with a clean and jerk of 130kg and a total of 237kg. She has stood on the podium in two Asian Games. It was also the second medal of the Taiwan weightlifting team today.

The 32-year-old Guo Minchun has outstanding achievements. She has won 1 gold and 2 bronze medals in the Olympics, 5 gold medals in the World Championships, and 1 gold and 1 bronze medal in the Asian Games. She won the women's 59kg bronze medal at the last Asian Games in Hangzhou in 2022. This year is her fourth Asian Games competition. Entering the clean and jerk event, Guo Meuchun first successfully lifted 130 kilograms. His second attempt was to break the world record of 138 kilograms, but unfortunately he failed. Then he tried again but failed, and finally surrendered a total of 237 kilograms. As for Yang Liuyue and Park Jinhae, they continued their world record pursuit and gold medal battle. Park Jinhae snatched 109kg, broke the world record clean and jerk of 139kg, and the total was 248kg. However, Yangliuyue lifted the last lift of 139kg in the clean and jerk, and finally regained the lead with a world record breaking total of 251kg. Park Jinhae won the gold medal.
