There are reserves of diesel fuel at the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant, but the situation is difficult due to the shelling of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the access roads to the station, Evgenia Yashina, director of communications at the nuclear power plant, told RIA Novosti.

Earlier, the director of the nuclear power plant, Yuriy Chernichuk, said that the APU is preventing the delivery of fuel for diesel generators necessary to maintain the operation of the Zaporozhye NPP in the event of a loss of external power supply. Fuel reserves are decreasing.

“The situation is not easy. There are fuel reserves, but due to the fact that the enemy is blocking the roads, the possibility of delivering anything to the city and the station is very difficult,” Yashina said.
