وأوضحت وزارة التربية والتعليم، في بيان، أن "المنشور جاء نتيجة خطأ من مسؤول صفحة الفيسبوك الخاصة بالمدرسة، وتم حذفه على الفور، كما تم إحالة مدير المدرسة ومسؤول الصفحة إلى الشؤون القانونية لاتخاذ الإجراءات اللازمة حيال الواقعة".
وأضافت الوزارة أن "الصورة المتداولة ضمن المنشور الخاص بالمدرسة والتي أظهرت طالبات المدرسة بالكامل يرتدين النقاب غير حقيقية وتم توليدها باستخدام تقنية الذكاء الاصطناعي، ولا تعبر عن واقع المدرسة أو الطالبات بها".
