On Tuesday, the office of the Governor of Spitsbergen reported that 69 Russian citizens from the Russian ship Professor Molchanov arrested by Norway were returned to Russia.

“The task was successfully completed, our compatriots returned to their homeland. I thank everyone who participated in this operation. I would especially note the patience and endurance of the direct participants in this unexpected adventure,” Chekunkov told RIA Novosti.
