A 2014 article by Shen Boyang, a candidate for mayor of Taipei City from the Democratic Progressive Party, about drugs was recently uncovered by Blue Camp, questioning his stance. Shen Boyang sent a debate post to Taipei Mayor Chiang Wanan today (3rd), calling on him not to create panic and bully Taipei people. Jiang Wanan posted a counterattack on Facebook tonight, saying that this is not to create panic, but to warn of danger; the danger is not the anti-drug party, the danger comes from blurring the boundaries between drugs and drugs.

Jiang Wanan posted on Facebook, and Shen Boyang advocated, "Taiwan can at least follow the example of some countries and establish community centers to provide drug users with drugs and clean needles." He said that as mayor, in addition to fully supporting the police in detecting drug-related smuggling, selling, manufacturing and use, he also supports schools at all levels in comprehensively deepening anti-drug education, as well as joint guidance from social welfare, health, psychological care and other units. However, this definitely does not mean glorifying drugs or making excuses for drug users. The vast majority of the reason for the proliferation of drugs comes from the huge production and supply chains behind it. Because money is the inducement to drive this criminal activity, this demand has been created. Governments of various countries have even cooperated transnationally to combat this evil thing that has harmed the healthy development of mankind for hundreds of years.

Jiang Wanan criticized Shen Boyang for creating panic when his position on the drug issue was exposed. He wanted to emphasize: "I am not creating panic, I am warning of danger.
