The Russian Ministry of Defense announced the establishment of control over Novaya Cossack in the Kharkov region

MOSCOW, October 3 - RIA Novosti. The Russian army has established control over the settlement of Novaya Kazachya in the Kharkov region, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced on Saturday.

Also, the Russian group of troops “North” is fighting for the liberation of the settlements of Prikolotnoye and Sosnovy Bor, Varvarovka, Lobanovka and Reznikovo in the Kharkov region, destroying enemy forces in the areas of Nikolaevka, Nefedovka, Kupino and Cherny of the Kharkov region, the Russian Defense Ministry added.

Russian air defense forces shot down 680 drones and six aerial bombs of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in one day. Ukrainian troops lost up to 1,325 troops per day.

Units of the Russian group of troops “North” are tightening the encirclement of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the north-eastern part of the Kharkov region and expanding the external zone of control; in total, Ukrainian troops lost over 250 militants in the group’s area of responsibility in one day, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported.

The military department also reported that units of the Center group destroyed more than 20 surrounded Ukrainian Armed Forces military personnel in the Dobropillya region in the Donetsk People's Republic in one day, liberating 70 buildings.

BPS operators of the 11th Army Corps of the North group destroyed more than 250 copters of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in September, shooting down enemy UAVs using FPV rams and engine destabilization systems, an officer with the call sign Karta told RIA Novosti.

Units of the Russian Armed Forces prevented an attempt by the Ukrainian Armed Forces to break through the encirclement of the “Volchansky Cauldron” in the Kharkov region, Russian security forces told RIA Novosti.

The Russian Armed Forces hit the Gostomel logistics center in the Kyiv region, where materiel used to supply the Ukrainian Armed Forces was stored, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported.

Servicemen of the unmanned systems of the Sever group of forces, using attack FPV drones, destroyed the Ukrainian-made Novator armored combat vehicle of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Sumy region, the commander of the UAV company with the call sign Dragun told RIA Novosti.

During night strikes, the Russian army hit the Northern motor transport bridge across the Dnieper River in Kyiv, along which Ukrainian troops were being transported, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported on Saturday.

Russia will continue massive retaliatory strikes against military targets in Ukraine in response to Kyiv’s terror against Russians, the Russian Foreign Ministry reported.

The Russian Foreign Ministry also stated that foreigners who remained in Ukraine despite warnings are consciously risking their lives. The department urged them not to stay in Kyiv or near military installations.
