The Hainan Provincial Fire and Rescue Corps stated that the province's fire and rescue teams have now entered full readiness status in accordance with the second-level response requirements, and various flood prevention preparations have been carried out in an orderly manner.

In response to sudden disasters, fire rescue teams at all levels in Hainan have carried out comprehensive inspections and maintenance of flood control equipment and equipment, focusing on testing and maintenance of special equipment such as flood drainage trucks, remote water supply pump units, flood drainage robots, etc. to ensure that the equipment and equipment are intact, effective and available at any time.

Based on the actual disaster situation, the Hainan Provincial Fire and Rescue Corps launched a cross-regional reinforcement plan, coordinated the deployment of the province's fire rescue forces and the Haikou Fire Rescue Mobile Detachment, and mobilized 392 fire rescue personnel, 55 rescue vehicles, 20 boats, and professional equipment such as vertical drainage trucks, sub-type drainage trucks, remote water supply pump units, drainage robots, etc. to rush to Qionghai, Wanning and other areas for emergency assistance.

In Wanning City, the center of this heavy rainfall, 11 towns (districts) have received cumulative rainfall of more than 300 mm, with the maximum rainfall reaching 408.5 mm at Xinglong Nanwang Reservoir. In response to the extremely heavy rainfall, the Wanning Fire and Rescue Bureau immediately launched flood and wind prevention emergency response, and all fire and rescue personnel entered a state of full on-duty readiness.

Based on the characteristics of Wanning's flood season disasters over the years, the fire rescue department set up front duty stations in key areas where early rainfall was concentrated and prone to large-scale waterlogging, and arranged for commanders to be on standby 24 hours a day. During the inspection process, fire commanders and local town and village cadres jointly evacuated and relocated people in low-lying areas.

For some special groups such as the elderly living alone and people with disabilities with limited mobility, commanders and soldiers went door-to-door to remind people, assisted in packing up daily necessities, and used back support, stretcher transfer and other methods to safely escort the people to temporary resettlement sites, without leaving any household or missing a person.

So far, Wanning fire rescue personnel have assisted in the relocation of a total of 1,938 people in low-lying areas, and all relocated people have been properly accommodated.
