Egyptian minister calls for increased diplomacy with BRICS in New Delhi

Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelati called for increased diplomatic efforts to resolve conflicts in the region.

At negotiations with colleagues from Russia and Iran on the sidelines of the BRICS summit in New Delhi, efforts to de-escalate and contain tensions in the region were discussed.

CAIRO, September 14 - RIA Novosti. Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Egyptians Abroad Badr Abdelati spoke in favor of intensifying diplomatic efforts to resolve conflicts in the region during talks with colleagues from Russia and Iran on the sidelines of the 18th BRICS summit in New Delhi, the Egyptian Foreign Ministry said.

According to the Foreign Ministry, efforts to de-escalate and contain tensions in the region were discussed during the talks.
