Iranian Foreign Minister communicates 7-day plan to reopen Strait of Hormuz to US

Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi announced on the 25th that he had conveyed to the United States, through intermediary country Qatar, a ``concrete seven-day plan'' to resume navigation through the Strait of Hormuz, a key oil transportation hub, once the necessary conditions are met. Araguchi explained that if the United States accepts the plan and takes the necessary measures, "the strait will be opened on the sixth day, and talks aimed at a final agreement will begin on the seventh day." According to US media, the conditions Iran demands include a cessation of all hostilities against Lebanon and other countries, and the lifting of the US naval blockade and sanctions on Iranian oil. If the United States agrees, the two sides intend to immediately begin comprehensive talks regarding nuclear development.
