Puli Happy Bus is in trial operation. Point-to-point reservations provide free rides until the end of July.

The "Puli Lucky Bus" subsidized by the Highway Bureau of the Ministry of Transport in Nantou County's 8th township started trial operation today. There are 4 minibuses, divided into Pu South Line and Pu Bei Line. They can travel from point to point in the town, but reservations must be made the day in advance, and the same route must be reserved by 2 people before it can operate. It is free to ride before July 31. There will be a fee from August 1. No cash is paid on the bus. You can only use Respect for the Elderly Card, Easy Card, All-in-One Card and Aijin Card.

The "Nantou Happiness GO" bus, the eighth one operating in Nantou County, held a trial operation launch ceremony at the Puli Arts Center in the afternoon. It was co-hosted by Yang Congxian, director of the Taichung District Supervision Office, and Wang Ruide, deputy mayor of Nantou County. Yang Congxian pointed out, Puli Xingfu Bus is equipped with 4 minibuses by "Nantou Passenger Transport" and plans two corridors, "Xingfu Pu South Line" and "Xingfu Pu North Line". It adopts a real-name full reservation, point-to-point "round trip to any two places in the town" fully flexible shared ride model

Nantou County Government Traffic Management said that Puli residents must make a reservation one day in advance to take the Puli Happy Bus. They can call the toll-free hotline: 0800-885-658, or make a reservation through the official LINE (@ntgo). The Happy Bus operates from 6 am to 9 pm every day. It can pick up and drop off from point to point as long as you make a reservation. However, the same bus must have at least two people making reservations before it can run.

The trial operation lasts until July 31st. During this period, all rides are free, but starting from August 1st, you will have to pay. A one-stage ticket of 8 kilometers counts, and you can pay for a maximum of three stages. A full ticket is 25 yuan for a 1-stage ticket, a half ticket is 13 yuan, and there is an exclusive student ticket of 20 yuan. If you don’t pay cash on the bus, you can only swipe your card. Elders can swipe the senior card, and ordinary people can use Easy Card, All-in-One Card or Aijin Card.
