On January 19, 2024, the marketing office held a banquet in front of a temple in Songshan District. The judge summoned five additional witnesses, all of whom pointed out that Gao Nan pressed down with his whole body weight and hugged them in a manner similar to how he hugged his female subordinates. The judge therefore concluded that Gao Nan had such a habit and that the female subordinate's words were true. One of the witnesses witnessed the entire incident with his own eyes, and it roughly matched the female subordinate's account, so she accepted the female subordinate's account.
The judge believed that Gao used his power to commit obscenity and had gone beyond the mutual respect required in interpersonal relationships between superiors and subordinates, causing the victim to suffer physical and mental pain. Gao's defense was evasive and he failed to reconcile with his female subordinate. He had a bad attitude after the crime and sentenced him to seven months in prison. He can appeal.
