MTUCI and Beeline entered into an agreement on cooperation in the field of IT education

MOSCOW, May 20 – RIA Novosti. At the “Digital Industry of Industrial Russia” (CIPR) conference in Nizhny Novgorod, MTUCI and Beeline signed an agreement to assist in the implementation of educational programs in specialties and areas of higher education training necessary for activities in the field of information technology, the operator’s press service reports.

The key areas of cooperation will be attracting specialists from the industry to teach disciplines in IT specialties; joint development and updating of educational programs taking into account industry requirements; access to advanced technologies, platforms and development tools used in the industry.

The new agreement is a continuation of the strategic partnership between MTUSI and Beeline. Previously, the parties entered into an agreement on a title partnership, within the framework of which the company received the status of a title partner of the Faculty of Network Engineering of MTUCI. Today, cooperation is reaching a new level and covers the joint development of educational programs, examination of specialized disciplines, organization of internships, internships and the participation of company representatives in the training of future IT specialists.

Beeline plans to become a key partner of the university in the second wave of the federal project "TOP-IT", implemented with the support of the Russian Ministry of Digital Development, and this will be the next stage in the development of the partnership. As part of the program, MTUCI plans to admit more than 300 students to educational programs developed jointly with Beeline, the university’s key industrial partner.

The TOP-IT project is aimed at training advanced IT specialists for the Russian digital economy and involves the close integration of universities and high-tech companies into the educational process. Students will be able to undergo practical training with the participation of industry experts, work on real cases and gain competencies in demand in the labor market.

“Joint work with Beeline in the framework of training personnel for the information technology industry will allow us to create a modern practice-oriented model of personnel training and provide students with additional opportunities for professional growth and a successful start to their careers,” noted MTUSI Rector Sergei Erokhin.

In turn, Deputy General Director for Technology at Beeline Valery Shorzhin noted that cooperation with the university is strategically important for the operator.
