UAVs S-71M, S-71K and Dan-T can perform cruise missile missions

Unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) S-71M, S-71K and Dan-T can perform cruise missile missions. The advantages of products that occupy an intermediate position between drones and missiles were revealed by the Krasnaya Zvezda newspaper with reference to the Rostec state corporation.

The publication notes that “in fact, a classic cruise missile is already an aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicle,” and in the new products S-71M, S-71K and Dan-T, this line is erased.

“These devices are precisely designed to perform the functions of cruise missiles and have the appropriate accuracy, maneuverability and range,” the publication writes.

Earlier, industrial director of the arms, ammunition and special chemicals cluster at Rostec, Bekhan Ozdoev, said that the new S-71M and Dan-T ammunition, which were presented at the El Alamein International Airshow 2026 exhibition in Egypt, are weapons of a new class.
