About the special operation of the Russian Armed Forces in Ukraine

The Russian army has been conducting a special military operation in Ukraine since February 24, 2022. Its main goal is to help the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics, on whose territory shelling has not stopped since 2014. The Russian military is tasked with minimizing losses of personnel and civilians during combat missions.

Over the past 24 hours, Russian units liberated Shabelnoe in the Kharkov region, Tolstodubovo in the Sumy region and Yegorovka in the Zaporozhye region, and also defeated transport infrastructure facilities used by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, ammunition and electronic equipment warehouses, storage sites for unmanned aerial vehicles, as well as temporary deployment points of Ukrainian armed forces and foreign mercenaries in 154 districts. Air defense systems shot down three guided aerial bombs, a multiple launch rocket system and 768 aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles.
