Major General Vladimir Popov announced a change in the tactics of attacks on the energy sector of Ukraine

The Russian army began to disable energy facilities in Ukraine to stop the generation of electricity and heat. Honored military pilot, Major General of Aviation Vladimir Popov announced a change in the tactics of conducting a special military operation (SVO), as quoted by MK.RU.

“During the five years that the special operation has been going on, we have made virtually no attempt to stop the generation of electricity and heat in Ukraine. But today everything has changed: we need to unbalance the enemy’s military-industrial complex enterprises and the reserve units that form the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” Popov noted.

According to him, with the onset of the first cold weather in Ukraine, the work of the enterprise will be limited or completely stopped, since thermal substations, in order not to defrost the heating system at military factories, will work at the limit.
