KMT Penghu County Mayor candidate Chen Zhenzhong's campaign headquarters established

KMT Penghu County Mayor candidate Chen Zhenzhong established his campaign headquarters today (12th). Vice Chairman and Secretary-General Li Qianlong, Penghu County Assembly Speaker Chen Yuren, KMT Penghu County Party Committee Chairman Chen Shuangquan, and non-party members Lin Bingkun, leader of the advisory group of the alliance's general convening and campaign headquarters, Lu Yongtai, campaign director-general, Zheng Zonglin, deputy director-general, Zhang Duanmei, leader of the volunteer group, and Hong Donglin, the Kuomintang's Magong mayoral candidate, were present to support the campaign.

The event kicked off with the aboriginal war dance and Longmen Drum Troupe. Artists Chen Suiran and Zhu Haijun, based on their years of friendship with Chen Zhenzhong, sponsored the event across the sea. They cheered for their friends with their singing and also heated up the atmosphere. Later, Chen Zhenzhong entered the venue hand in hand with his colleagues and took the stage amidst the applause and cheers of supporters. During the event, a flag presentation ceremony for each support club was held. Li Qianlong presented "Good Luck" and Lin Bingkun presented "Baozhong" as a blessing.

Chen Zhenzhong said, "As long as everyone gives me a chance, I will take the responsibility. I believe Penghu can be better." He also raised several important issues related to Penghu's future, including how to solve the current dilemma, what Penghu will look like in the next 10 and 20 years, and what kind of home this generation will leave to the next generation. Thoughts on these issues have been included in his 10 major political opinions. The land of Penghu deserves everyone’s joint efforts. We hope to change Penghu through specific policies, so that Penghu can coexist with nature, and this beautiful island can develop in the direction of sustainability and common prosperity.

Chen Zhenzhong admitted frankly that this road is not easy to walk, but with the people and team accompanying him all the way, he will have the strength to move forward. He also thanked all the guests, people, volunteers and team partners who showed up for their support. In the future, he will continue to go to the grassroots, listen to public opinions, explain the policies clearly to the people, and work hard for the future of Penghu with everyone with the attitude of "pragmatic governance and steady progress".
