Vocational College Lotte Peach Monkeys came back to defeat the Taiwan Steel Eagles, keeping their hopes of winning the championship in the second half of the season

Today, the 3-site secondary vocational competition starts. If CITIC Brothers defeats the Fubon Warriors in Xinzhuang and Lotte Peach Monkey loses to the Taiwan Steel Eagles in Taoyuan, CITIC will win the second half of the season championship and Lotte will be eliminated. If Lotte wants to prevent CITIC from winning the championship, its destiny is in its own hands, and it must win first. Lotte, which was trailing by as many as 4 points at one point, scored 6 hits and 7 hits in the 7th inning, triggering a 6-point reversal and defeating the Taipei Steel Eagles 7:5 in the final game. There is still a chance in the second half of the season.

Taiwan Steel Yangtou Kannan faced the Uni-President Lions in the first game, throwing 126 pitches and 8.2 innings, and almost achieved a complete victory. Facing Lotte Taoyuan today, Chen Chenwei knocked out a double in the first inning. After Chen Chenwei advanced to third base with a ground ball, Liang Jiarong hit a timely hit, allowing Lotte Xianchi to score.

Cannan hit a touch ball against Wake, but Lotte's next two batters, Liao Jianfu and Li Xunjie, hit a fly ball and a grounder to second base respectively. Lotte scored first in the first game but only scored 1 point.

Lotte starting pitcher Lin Ziwei only allowed one hit by Chen Wenjie in the first three innings. However, after one out in the top of the fourth inning, he was hit by Chen Wenjie again. The Magic Eagle ground ball in the opposite direction and resulted in an infield hit. Ko Sheng'en followed up with a timely hit, and the Taipei Steel Eagles tied the game.

After Lotte called a timeout, Yan Yuxuan hit to the right field to load the bases. Under the crisis of the bases being loaded, Tang Jiahao added two more RBIs and a level fly hit. Taipei Steel took the lead with 5 consecutive hits.

Lotte fell behind and faced Kannan's blockade. After 2 outs in the bottom of the 6th inning, Wick reached base on an error. Liao Jianfu hit a hit, leaving first and second bases occupied. Lin Zhiping hit a fly ball and was caught.

Lotte failed to score and suffered another sniper attack in the 7th inning. After Chen Shijia's hit, Zeng Ziyu successfully executed a bunt. Lotte replaced Wang Zhixuan, but first a wild pitch put the runner on third base, and Ji Qingran hit an RBI hit. After 2 outs, the Magic Eagles also hit a hit and had an RBI.

Trailing by more and more points, Lotte did not give up. With one out in the bottom of the 7th inning, Cheng Jin and Song Jiaxiang hit one after another. Kannan continued to pitch after Taigang called timeout. Chen Chenwei hit a double with an RBI, and Lotte recovered 1 point. Jason Ma then hit another hit, and Lotte chased to a 2-point difference. At this time, Taipei Steel decided to change pitches and replaced Chen Baiqing, who was tied for the relay title before the game, but Liang Jiarong and Wicker got hits one after another. Liang Jiarong scored his second RBI of the game, and Wicker's RBI allowed Lotte to tie.

Chen Baiqing then accidentally hit Liao Jianfu, allowing Lotte to take the bases. Taiwan Steel immediately replaced Chen Yuhong to take over. Lin Zhiping's high-flying sacrifice bunt allowed Lotte to regain the lead. Lotte played more than one round, and Lin Ziwei's long hit with an RBI gave Lotte a 2-point lead.
