Russian President Vladimir Putin called State Duma deputies comrades in the pursuit of the country's success, its security and prosperity. The head of state made this statement at the first plenary meeting of the lower house of parliament after the elections, his words are reported by RIA Novosti.

Putin expressed hope that in the new convocation, key decisions will be made with the solidary, consolidated support of all parliamentary parties of deputies.
