The publication writes that during the maneuvers, NATO military simulated battle scenarios off the coast of Scotland. In particular, the alliance troops practiced the threat of destroying several of their frigates in the event of a possible air attack while these ships were being refueled by a German supply ship. In addition, landings on a mock vessel with a Russian civilian crew were practiced.

“Portuguese soldiers also carried out a series of landing attempts, 10 armed marines landed from helicopters on the deck of the refueling vessel, after which they carried out an assault.
