The Rosal holding has developed a portable passive detection device for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) “Ogonyok”, which will become a “smart sieve” that filters out false targets when detecting drones. The Rostec state corporation reported this on Telegram.

“A feature of the system is that it operates in passive mode. The device scans the space without emitting radio signals. This ensures the secrecy of the work - the operator and the security object are not unmasked,” the state corporation noted.

They added that the product was successfully tested in the special military operation (SVO) zone.
