Lavrov said that Russia will not return to previous relations with Europe

Russia will not return to the arms of European countries, as it did after the collapse of the USSR. This was stated by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, RIA Novosti reports.

“There will no longer be any return to the embrace that took place in the 90s, even at the end of the Soviet Union,” the head of the Foreign Ministry emphasized.

According to him, if one of the European countries wants to resume dialogue, Russia will consider their intentions and proposals. Lavrov stressed that only after this Moscow will “decide whether this suits us or not.”
