Military personnel of the Ukrainian Armed Forces failed in their attempt to break out of encirclement in the Kharkov region

Servicemen of the 72nd brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) made an unsuccessful attempt to break out of the encirclement in the Kharkov region. A source in Russian law enforcement agencies told RIA Novosti about this.

“The Ukrainian Armed Forces are not giving up attempts to break through the encirclement. The northerners repelled a counterattack by the Shkval company of the 72nd Mechanized Infantry Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. As a result of a complex fire attack, the enemy withdrew to their original positions with losses,” he said.

According to him, soldiers of the 22nd separate mechanized brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces also tried to leave the encirclement, but some of them were blown up by mines, and the rest were destroyed by FPV drone strikes.
