One of the major features of OneXFly APEX Air is that it uses an 85Wh removable battery.
This battery is hot-pluggable, so if you connect the power cable, you can attach or remove it without turning off the power. Takuro Yamada, president of Tenku, says, ``If you have a spare battery, you can play for twice as long on the go.'' This battery can also be used as a mobile battery, and can also be used to power other USB devices such as smartphones.
From a slightly different perspective, this machine can operate even when the battery is removed. The weight without the battery is approximately 639g, which is quite light.
OneXFly APEX Air's strength is that its "lightness" allows you to enjoy games while minimizing hand fatigue.
The OneXFly APEX Air's CPU uses the "Intel Arc G3 Extreme" developed by Intel for portable gaming PCs, and is equipped with 32GB of LPDDR5X memory (cannot be expanded/replaced) and a 1TB PCI Express 4.0 connected SSD.
President Yamada says with confidence, ``We have achieved the same performance as the Core Ultra 356H with a body weighing approximately 639g.''
The display is an 8-inch native landscape LCD with a panel resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels and a variable refresh rate of up to 120Hz. By dynamically changing the refresh rate depending on the displayed content, it achieves both comfortable gameplay and battery conservation.
The triggers and analog sticks of the game controller (pad) are equipped with "e-sports grade" materials. The trigger is adjustable in two stages, allowing you to change the depth of the stroke using a physical switch. It also has "dual custom buttons" on the back.
It has two speakers (stereo) and is supervised by HARMAN. In addition to the game controller's ergonomic design that makes it easier to play for long periods of time, the quality of all parts has been improved compared to previous models.
As for expandability, it is equipped with a "Mini SSD slot" (PCI Express 4.0 compatible / up to 2TB) and a microSD memory card slot, which allows storage to be added directly from the outside without disassembling the main unit.

Traditionally, portable gaming PCs were positioned as ``devices that miniaturized the components of gaming desktop PCs and general notebook PCs.'' However, according to President Yamada, recent portable gaming PCs have become ``leading'' the highest performance of general mobile notebook PCs.
In fact, when comparing the performance of OneXFly APEX Air with One-Netbook Technology's 2025 model (equipped with Ryzen Z1 Extreme/Ryzen Z2 Extreme), you can see an improvement of up to nearly 40%. Additionally, compared to mobile notebook PCs in the 400,000 yen range equipped with high-end mobile CPUs, it is said to exhibit 17% to 44% higher performance in benchmark scores.
Regarding power saving, it was emphasized that this processor can maintain a high frame rate with a low power consumption of 35W to 40W, compared to a typical gaming notebook PC that requires a 100W AC adapter.
Also, due to its high performance, its versatility when used as a desktop machine was also emphasized. In particular, OneXFly APEX Air can operate without a battery as mentioned above, so it can be used like a desktop PC without worrying about battery deterioration.
In addition, in the case of OneXFly APEX Air, when used in "desktop mode", the upper limit of TDP (thermal design power) in the CPU can be raised, resulting in a performance improvement of up to 47% compared to "mobile mode".
Cheap and stable eGPU (external GPU) solutions are becoming popular in modern portable gaming PCs. OneXFly APEX Air can also connect an eGPU via the USB4 terminal, and when used together, it is possible to achieve gaming performance comparable to a desktop gaming PC.
If used in conjunction with an eGPU, it is possible to output three to four screens at the same time, so President Yamada emphasized that ``it is possible to realize a lifestyle as a true all-in-one PC,'' such as playing games, AI processing, and creative work on the large screen at home, and taking it with the battery attached when going out.
