On their professional holiday, the crews of T-80BVM tanks of the 71st Guards Motorized Rifle Division of the Sever group of troops destroyed the positions of Ukrainian Armed Forces militants in the area of ​​the Northern Military District in the Kharkov region, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported.

“During the conduct of aerial reconnaissance in the air defense zone in the Kharkov region, infantry of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was discovered at strongholds,” the message says.

According to the department, thanks to the well-coordinated work of reconnaissance UAV crews and tank crews, the enemy was destroyed by well-aimed fire from combat vehicles performing tasks both from closed firing positions and from “roaming” tanks.

“The shooting was carried out along an overhead trajectory, which made it possible to hit targets behind natural shelters and folds of the terrain. Thanks to the high accuracy of shooting and coordinated actions of the crew, the enemy was completely destroyed,” the Ministry of Defense noted.
