MOSCOW, September 11 - RIA Novosti. A seismic event equivalent to a magnitude 4.1 earthquake occurred in southern Lebanon around the same time that Israel blew up Hezbollah's underground infrastructure, according to information published by the United States Geological Survey (USGS).

Earlier, Israeli authorities reported that the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) on Thursday evening destroyed the strategic underground infrastructure of the Hezbollah movement in the Ali al-Taher ridge in southern Lebanon.

The tremors were recorded at 18.08 UTC time (21.08 Moscow time) 13 kilometers southwest of the village of Nabatiya al-Takhta in southern Lebanon. The outbreak lay at a depth of ten kilometers.

Earlier, Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz said that the IDF would not leave the security zone in southern Lebanon until the Hezbollah movement was completely disarmed.
