Tao Qing, spokesperson of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and director of the Operation Monitoring and Coordination Bureau, said at the meeting that since this year, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has adhered to the simultaneous advancement of industrial greening and green industrialization and continued to cultivate and strengthen green productivity.
In terms of industrial greening, we will continue to improve the green manufacturing system and promote new results in industrial energy conservation, carbon reduction, water conservation and pollution reduction, and resource recycling. 2,038 green factories and 128 green industrial parks were newly cultivated, bringing the total number of green factories to 8,336 and the total number of green industrial parks to 616.
In terms of green industrialization, we will cultivate and expand emerging green industries such as energy conservation, environmental protection, and hydrogen energy. 27 directions and 118 key research tasks have been deployed to cultivate innovation centers for manufacturing industries such as water pollution prevention and control equipment. Support five urban agglomerations including Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei and the Greater Bay Area to launch comprehensive hydrogen energy application pilots, promote the expansion of hydrogen energy application scenarios from fuel cell vehicles to transportation, industry and other fields, accelerate breakthroughs in a number of key technologies and equipment, and cultivate new economic growth points.
Tao Qing also said that in the next step, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology will follow the deployment requirements of the National Advanced Manufacturing Conference, focus on large-scale application of green energy, efficient recycling of resources, construction of green manufacturing systems, and innovative breakthroughs in green equipment, accelerate the formation of greener and lower-carbon production methods, and transform my country's green productivity advantages into new momentum for green transformation.
The first is to expand the application of green energy. Cultivate and build the first batch of zero-carbon factories, guide enterprises to build industrial green microgrids, carry out comprehensive hydrogen energy application pilots, expand hydrogen energy application scenarios, continue to optimize the industrial energy structure, and achieve mutual promotion of carbon reduction and pollution reduction and quality and efficiency improvement.
The second is to improve resource utilization efficiency. Classified policies will be implemented to promote the comprehensive utilization of renewable resources, bulk industrial solid waste, and new solid waste. In particular, we will pay close attention to the recycling of power batteries, further strengthen the construction of regulations and standards, carry out special joint law enforcement actions between departments, implement a power battery digital ID card management system, and strengthen full-chain supervision and management.
The third is to create a benchmark for green manufacturing. Continue to cultivate green factories, green industrial parks, and green supply chain leading enterprises, further popularize green manufacturing models, and promote green upgrading of the manufacturing industry in a point-to-point manner.
The fourth is to strengthen the supply of green equipment. Implement the implementation plan for the high-quality development of energy-saving, water-saving, and environmentally friendly equipment, promote standard formulation, technology research and development, and promotion and application in an integrated manner, increase the effective supply of green products and equipment, vigorously promote green technologies such as energy saving and carbon reduction, clean production, and recycling, and support the comprehensive green transformation of economic and social development.
