The Democratic Progressive Party's Tainan mayoral candidate Chen Tingfei's campaign headquarters was established today (11th). All five other legislators in the party, including legislator Lin Junxian, came to the platform. Executive President Zhuo Rongtai said in his speech that this represents the united DPP, emphasizing that only if the party can be united can it unite with the people. Supporting the united DPP means uniting Taiwan.

Chen Tingfei's campaign headquarters was established this afternoon. Five other party legislators took turns taking the stage to give speeches. In particular, primary opponent Lin Junxian's public platform attracted the most attention. Zhuo Rongtai said that the five local legislators in Tainan all stood on the stage to recommend Chen Tingfei, representing the united Democratic Progressive Party. Only if the party can be united can the party unite with the people. If the party cannot be united, it cannot unite with the people. Therefore, supporting the united DPP is to unite Taiwan, which is the united Taiwan advocated by President Lai Qingde.

Zhuo Rongtai said that the recent nutritious lunch has made parents in Taipei very unconvinced. Why is there only 3 blueberries in Taipei but 1 manna pear in Tainan? In 2025, the central government allocated 115 billion yuan in taxes to Taipei City and 49.6 billion yuan to Tainan City. This is not because the Executive Yuan is partial, but because the Kuomintang-led Congress passed the fiscal planning law. It is very unfair and favors the counties and cities it governs. However, Tainan City can do so well. I believe that Chen Tingfei will use her 28 years of experience in politics to give the best to the next generation to balance the spirit of Taiwan and balance Tainan.

Lin Junxian pointed out that the DPP did not do well in the Tainan mayoral election four years ago because the turnout rate was only 58%. This time is different. Everyone must come out to vote and vote for Chen Tingfei, who works hard. This election should be regarded as the most important basis for the 2028 presidential election. Tainan is the most important district for the DPP and Lai Qingde's most important. If we want to win in 2028, we must win big this year.
